These are some pictures our cruise to México on the Carnival Ecstasy
On Monday 7 January 08 we left Galveston TX. We spent all day Tuesday at sea. On Wednesday we were in Progresso MX where we saw the Dzibilchaltun Mayan ruins. On Thursday we were in Cozumel MX where we went shopping. Friday was a day at sea and on Saturday 12 January we reached port in Galveston.
We had a great time.

The spring at Dzibilchaltun, this small spring has a part that is over 120 feet deep!
This church is "new" it was built in the 1500's.
These "older" ruins were built in 500 BC.
Templo de las siete muñecas (temple of the seven dolls), on the equinox, (March 20 and September 22) the sun shines through the doors and hits that big pillar. The pillar is a few hundred yards away!. This is an amazing feat for such an ancient civilization. Go ahead and look for the pilar in the third picture.
